Recent Apps allows you to swipe away your recently used apps that you have used. Even when you exit an app, it still runs in the background. This icon is an easy way to do this. If you don't have this icon, simply move your mouse to the top or bottom of the screen, swipe up from the bottom or down from the top. You may have a popup from the bottom of the screen. If you do, click on the square symbol and it will open similar to the pics below.
NOTE: This icon only works on certain boxes, if it doesnt work, use the EZ Cleaner to remove open apps.
Some devices will show an X in the top right or left side of the windows. You can click on this X symbol and the app will close. If you don't have the X symbol, you can move your mouse over the windows, hold your left mouse button down, and swipe to the right ( or left on some) to close the app.
If you have any apps open in the background, you will see them on the screen. If you don't have any recent apps, you may get a message that simply says your recent apps will appear here.
The icon for Recent Apps is located at the bottom of the screen, to the left of the More Apps icon. Click on it to see if you have any open apps.
